God’s Hand On Us

The rest of the AWHI team arrived safely in Kigali in the early AM hours of Tuesday. Jenn, Liz and Stephen navigated from Boston to Istanbul to Kigali with a minimal difficulty... if one doesn't count the baby sitting next to Stephen who clearly did not appreciate his grandfatherly charm for 8 straight hours.

That "patience hurdle" being crossed (seems we are still being tested by the enemy), we were greeted by our Rwandan friends, Bishop Theophile, Alexi and Heidi and whisked off to our wonderful Kigali guesthouse.

A few hours of sleep and we were right into the mission! Exchanging US money for Rwandan francs, readjusting our schedule due to some unexpected pastoral schedule changes and planning for our much anticipated journey to Ruhango tomorrow! God is doing great things in that village! Make sure to catch our blog tomorrow about the blessings that are being poured out there!

We will spend the afternoon getting supplies and resting just a bit to adjust to the Kigali time zone. From here on out we will be constantly on the move throughout Rwanda and even up to Uganda! We know that God is with us each step of the way and we would surely appreciate your prayers as well!

Stephen (Cyuzuzo)
