AWHI Mission Trip Team

In one week, the team is headed back to Rwanda and will be visiting Uganda for the first time. This year we are meeting with 4 new women cooperative groups (3 Rwanda, 1 Uganda) and revisiting 8 cooperative groups.

Fellowship and relationships are core to what we do and so we are looking forward to meeting more women and reuniting with the women we met with last year and hearing their success stories.

We will also be spending time with Africa Hope Initiatives’ (Kigali, Rwanda) team to continue discussions on a sustainable plan whereby the women’s cooperatives are self sufficient. This will take time but we know God will provide direction.

AWHI is extremely grateful to all  our partners for your financial support and prayers. AWHI and the women we serve value your generosity and your prayers.

International mission trips always present some challenges. This year’s trip presents challenges we have never dealt with before.  Our BIG ASK is that you keep the team in your prayers everyday.

Thank you to my husband and the team’s families for their love, support, and trusting that God will watch over us.

Planning a mission trip is a lot of work, mostly done by our Rwandan partner Bishop Theophile. A big thank you to Bishop Theophile for working through all the logistics. It is not a small task. He is truly a blessing!

Most importantly, I thank God for opening my eyes to all the possibilities and realities of this ministry. I am blessed to have a wonderful team that will serve alongside me and love this ministry and Rwanda as much as I do.

We look forward to sharing with you what God is doing in Rwanda and Uganda.  The team will be posting daily blogs. We would love to see encouraging and uplifting comments. We will need it!
