Preparing for our March 2023 Trip

Our itinerary for our March mission trip with Africa Women’s Hope Initiative is coming together!

This year I am taking 3 other people with me and we will be visiting the women’s cooperatives in Kigali and Batima along with 4 new villages! We will visit Nyamata along with another village nearby and then we will travel to two more in Gisenyi. Gisenyi is in the western part of Rwanda near Lake Kivu.

Our partner and dear friend, Bishop Theophile Rugubira tells us we will see several groups of children during our trip, many are the kids of the moms we will be meeting. We will also visit Gasarabwayi, the village where I gave my first savings bonus after the women’s cooperative met their savings goal back in 2020.
